Appeal for witnesses and information after attack on a cat in Carlisle

Police are investigating a recent report concerning the death of a cat in the Richmond Green area of Carlisle.

The cat had injuries which may be consistent with having been attacked by a dog.

Our Carlisle Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are carrying out increased patrols in the area and are out and about to provide reassurance to the community.

We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of Richmond Green between the hours of 00:00 and 00:30 on the 25 May to come forward.
