Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses as part of an investigation into a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Ulverston on Wednesday (10 Dec).
The collision took place on the A590 near to Coronation Hall in Ulverston at 7:25pm and involved a grey VW Golf and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, received serious injuries and was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a forensic collision investigation was carried out. Enquiries are currently ongoing.
