Police are appealing for witnesses following a one-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on the A591 at Thirlmere yesterday ( March 11 ).
The motorcyclist, a man, 37, was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough with serious injuries.
He remains in a critical condition today.
The collision was reported at 11.38am.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, referring to incident 84 of March 11.
