Police continue to appeal for witnesses in relation to the road traffic collision on Hindpool Road in Barrow that involved a car and a pedestrian on 10 December 2025.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak to anyone that was on that road between 4.10pm and 4.20pm - in particular anyone who has dashcam footage of the area at that time.
Police are keen to establish the movements of the pedestrian, a woman in her eighties who was walking with a walking aid prior to the collision.
The woman injured in the collision remains in hospital in a critical condition.
