
The family of a man who died following a collision near Mossdale Services have paid tribute to his life.
Jospeh Hough, known as Joe, aged 38, from Morecambe, died following a collision involving a motorbike he was riding and a car on the A6 near Mossdale Services at 11:36am on Saturday 3 January.
In statements, his family members said:
“My Brother and friend.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved little brother “Bear” Joe.
“More than a brother, you were my best friend, confidant, and a constant light.
“Life feels quieter and empty now, but your memory will live on in the stories and moments we shared. Rest in peace, lil bro.”
And:
“Uncle Bear.
“Uncle Bear (Joe) was a man of deep faith, integrity, and warmth. He was a constant source of joy in the good ones.
“His legacy of kindness will never be forgotten”.
The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Honda motorcycle.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which man help officers are asked to contact police.
