Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which occurred on Charlotte Street in Carlisle this afternoon (26 March).
Officers were called at 3:46pm following an incident where a man, aged in his 30s, suffered serious facial injuries after an altercation with another man.
Officers are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or people who may have dashcam footage which may have caught the incident to get in touch.
